A great experience from beginning to end! Very friendly, helpful staff when I first enquired by phone & email, directions from the main street in Bowral were given, complete with landmarks to look out for.

We came down for Sunday lunch from Sydney to meet family coming up from Canberra (& visiting from overseas), what a great choice - we weren't disappointed! 4 adults with 5 children in tow, aged from 3 to 12yrs. Lounges near the fireplace were a great spot to meet and exchange birthday pressies and have a drink before our meal.

Some of us chose to order at the counter and pay separately, others chose to bill the table and pay at the end, pretty flexible in my eyes.

The food was fairly quick to arrive, I liked that they brought out the children’s meals first, promptly followed by the adults meals – the meals were generous servings, including the children’s meals.
I had the grilled honey chicken tenderloins with roasted vegetables - absolutely lovely! I also tried some of the T-bone steak with mushroom sauce- yum!... Lovely field mushrooms were used, which had great flavour - loads of chips on the plate though compared to the amount of salad. Calamari in the children’s meal was cooked to perfection.

Live Scottish music added atmosphere, the musician was very friendly and wore a traditional Scottish kilt! He was happy to interact with the children and show them his piano accordion.

The children enjoyed their paddle pops that were included in their meal price, while we had a coffee.

We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we stayed for 4 hours! Great customer service from beginning to end. I would highly recommend. We are already planning a pre Christmas get together at the Scottish Arms.
